OurDream AI is an independent resource that reviews and compares AI companion applications. OurDream AI is operated by Bluepeak Media B.V., a company based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, which acts as the data controller for this website. What we collect
Most people read our reviews and leave without handing over a single detail, and that is by design. The data that does reach us falls into three buckets:
- Information you give us. If you subscribe to updates, we receive the email address you type in. If you write to us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.
- Information collected automatically. Like nearly every website, our server records standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and a timestamp. These help us keep the site secure and working.

Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your email only to send what you asked for, and you can stop it at any time. Technical logs exist for security and basic troubleshooting. Where we rely on cookies that are not strictly necessary, we ask first. Under the GDPR our legal bases are your consent (for optional cookies and the newsletter) and our legitimate interest in running a secure, functioning website.
Affiliate links and third parties
Some of the buttons that send you to a reviewed platform are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination service — not us — may set its own cookies to credit the referral. Our newsletter is delivered through a third-party form processor that handles your address on our behalf under a data-processing agreement.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and to delete, and we do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these, email us — we will not make you jump through hoops, and we respond within thirty days.
Retention, security and transfers
We keep personal data only as long as it serves the purpose you gave it for: newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe, correspondence for as long as the matter is open. Access is limited, and our processors are chosen for their security posture. Where data is processed outside the EEA, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Children
This is an adult website intended for visitors aged eighteen and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a minor has contacted us, tell us and we will erase the record. This requirement is also set out in our Terms of Service.
Changes to this policy
When the site changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will tell you when. Material updates will be flagged clearly rather than slipped in quietly — the same standard we hold ourselves to across our Editorial Policy.
